I just took this of my asiatic lily. Last year they came up a pinkish color, this year they're orange, I didn't know they did that!!

I have been practicing with my camera and these were taken in the portrait mode. I need more practice but these are way better than I used to take!!

Jeff is one of those people that just wings it as he goes along!! He had no design and no plan but I think it is coming out great!!!

This is his stablemate Precious. She's one week older than Pride. Don't you just love those blue eyes!!!

This is my little colt Pride.

We've had him for 2 weeks today and I just love him to pieces. He has bedding in his hair from rolling around in his little shed.

Pond progress

Hi,

My DH and DS have been working on putting a pond in our front yard. It's going to be wonderful to sit out there and listen to the waterfalling and maybe the sounds of little frog or two. Here are some of the pictures so far. He started it on June 9th.

I took Scott to summer school this morning,

and came home and worked in the garden for a little while. My MIL gave me some daisies that needed planted, so I did that and weeded a little. It's really starting to look nice and I love doing it. Later today I am going to go get me some terra cotta pots so I can make a tipsy pot!! They are so cute and Mary just had to show me a picture!!! LOL She is such an enabler.

Jessica turned 34 on June 10th. She has really surprised her doctors considering they gave her 6 months to live almost 6 years ago. We had a small party for her on Tues, June 12th. Scott and I are behind her and her 2 kids are beside her. Riley is on the left and Devynn is on the right. We spent about 3 hours with her and she had a good time.

A new look to an old blog!!!

Hi everyone,
I've decided to make this place of mine on the net a little happier. From now on and for the most part, it will be about my love of my family,friends,pets and my garden. I will be posting lots of pics hopefully and progress reports on the growing up of the 2 horses, the puppies and my garden. I will also have Jessica updates as well. So as soon as possible,I will start posting pictures and stories. Stay tuned.........
